Who is responsible

HumanTier determines how personal information collected through its websites and services is used and acts as the controller where applicable data-protection law uses that term. For privacy questions or requests concerning your information, use the contact form and choose Privacy inquiry.

No behavioral tracking or advertising profiles

HumanTier does not use Google Analytics or any other third-party behavioral-analytics service, advertising pixels, cross-site trackers, or cookies used for behavioral tracking. HumanTier does not use website activity, service activity, or protected user content to create advertising profiles, deliver individualized advertising, or target individuals for purposes unrelated to the HumanTier service they have chosen to use.

HumanTier does not sell personal information or disclose personal information to data brokers, advertising networks, or other parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Information we process

Depending on how you use HumanTier websites and services, HumanTier may process:

• Information you submit, including your name, email address, selected topic, message, and any other information you choose to provide through a form, email, or other communication.
• Early-access registration information, consisting of the email address you provide when you join a HumanTier early-access list.
• Account and service information, such as an account email or other contact identifier, account status, authentication and session records, device or security events, service preferences, and subscription or billing status where applicable.
• Operational and security information, such as an IP address, timestamp, requested resource, response status, referring page, browser or device information, session-security information, and related technical events processed by HumanTier infrastructure or service providers.
• Protected HumanTier Cocoon content, meaning encrypted content maintained at a Humanteer’s direction. HumanTier systems may store, route, synchronize, or otherwise technically process protected content while being designed not to possess standing or unilateral access to its plaintext.
• Form-security information, including a pseudonymous value derived from an IP address and recent submission times used to limit automated or repeated form submissions.

Why we use information

Contact information is used to respond to inquiries, evaluate possible collaboration, employment, investment, media, professional, or commercial relationships, and take steps requested before a possible relationship. Depending on the context, this processing is based on HumanTier’s legitimate interests in communicating and developing those relationships, or on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

When you join an early-access list, HumanTier uses the email address you provide to send occasional product updates and information about opportunities to participate in pre-release testing. This processing is based on your request and consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time.

Account, authentication, session, device, and service information may be used to provide requested services, maintain secure access, perform contractual obligations, prevent fraud and abuse, support users, and protect HumanTier systems.

Operational and security information is used only as reasonably necessary for service delivery, authentication, security, fraud and abuse prevention, troubleshooting, reliability, legal compliance, and appropriately limited aggregate operational statistics.

Protected HumanTier Cocoon content is processed only to provide functions directed or authorized by the Humanteer and according to applicable purpose, scope, recipient, action, duration, context, and further-disclosure restrictions.

Early-access registration

When you join a HumanTier early-access list, HumanTier receives the email address you provide and uses it to send occasional product updates and information about opportunities to participate in pre-release testing. Registration is voluntary and this processing is based on your request and consent.

The address may be delivered to a HumanTier email account or maintained in a purpose-limited registration system. It is retained until you ask to be removed, the early-access program ends, or the information is no longer reasonably needed for that purpose. HumanTier does not sell early-access information or disclose it for behavioral advertising. You may ask to be removed at any time by replying to an early-access message or through the contact form.

Strictly necessary technologies

HumanTier may use strictly necessary first-party cookies or similar technologies to authenticate users, protect account sessions, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain service security, perform requested functions, and remember settings expressly selected by the user. These technologies are limited to their stated operational purposes and are not used for behavioral analytics or advertising.

Operational and security information

HumanTier infrastructure and hosting providers may automatically process standard technical information needed to deliver, secure, and maintain HumanTier websites and services. HumanTier uses such information only for service operation, security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, compliance, and appropriately limited aggregate statistics; not for advertising, cross-site tracking, or unrelated profiling.

HumanTier limits access to operational information according to role and need, retains it only as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose, and seeks to reduce or aggregate it where practical.

Protected HumanTier Cocoon content

HumanTier is designed so that protected content maintained within HumanTier Cocoon remains encrypted and inaccessible to HumanTier as the system operator. HumanTier does not maintain standing or unilateral authority to inspect, mine, monetize, or disclose protected Cocoon content.

A HumanTier application or outside participant may receive access to selected protected information or authority only when authorized by the Humanteer. Such access may be limited by purpose, data scope, recipient, permitted action, duration, context, and further-disclosure restrictions, and may be revoked or allowed to expire according to the applicable authorization.

When a Humanteer deliberately directs information to be disclosed or an action to be performed outside HumanTier Cocoon, the receiving person or organization may process that information under its own legal obligations and practices. HumanTier seeks to disclose only the information and authority required for the authorized interaction.

Service providers and disclosure

Information may be handled by service providers supporting website hosting, security, authentication, email delivery, payment processing, service operation, and professional communications, and by professional advisers where reasonably necessary. HumanTier may also disclose operator-accessible information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, safety, or system security.

HumanTier does not sell personal information or disclose personal information to data brokers, advertising networks, or other parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. Protected HumanTier Cocoon content is disclosed only under an applicable user-controlled authorization.

HumanTier websites may load the Inter and Manrope typefaces through Bunny Fonts. Bunny Fonts states that its font service does not log or track end users.

International processing

HumanTier is based in the United States. Information may therefore be processed in the United States and in other countries where service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection rules that differ from those in your location. Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard, HumanTier will use an appropriate lawful mechanism for the relevant transfer.

Retention

HumanTier retains operator-accessible information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, service operation, security, necessary business records, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. Early-access email addresses are retained until you ask to be removed, the applicable program ends, or the address is no longer reasonably needed for that purpose. Operational and security logs are retained according to security and reliability needs and are reduced or aggregated where practical. Protected HumanTier Cocoon content is retained according to Humanteer instructions, applicable service settings, technical constraints, and legal requirements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a portable copy of your personal information, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Some rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. Where the GDPR applies, you may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work, or where you believe an infringement occurred.

Required information and sensitive information

Information identified as required is needed to provide the requested function or respond to the applicable inquiry. You are not otherwise legally or contractually required to provide information through a public HumanTier form. Please do not send health information, financial account details, government identification numbers, privileged material, or other highly sensitive information through the general contact form.

Automated decisions

HumanTier does not use personal information collected through its public website to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. HumanTier systems are designed to preserve meaningful human authority over consequential choices and to apply appropriate safeguards where automated functions are used.

Security

HumanTier uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect operator-accessible information and to support the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and user-controlled protection of HumanTier systems. No internet transmission, email system, device, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes

HumanTier may update this notice when its services, service providers, legal obligations, or information practices change. Effective August 2, 2026.
